Our Farm

Las Brisas Farm is located one mile from historic Fayetteville, Texas where there are shops, restaurants and charming and quaint bed and breakfast accommodations. Las Brisas Farm is situated on 40 acres with views of the gentle rolling countryside and is part of an original grant from Stephen F. Austin, the Father of Texas.  There is a seedling planted on the farm from the actual pecan tree where the Republic of Texas on March 2, 1836 declared its independence from Mexico.  The Texas Declaration of Independence was actually signed under this very tree at Washington on the Brazos.

Our Story

My husband Eldon and I moved to the country and purchased this property in 2001, with hopes of creating something different. We wanted our brides and grooms to experience God's country, and we wanted their guests to have a never-before wedding experience.

We both love and honor God and want our venue to reflect Nature at its finest. Eldon and I feel so blessed to be where we are in our lives, and we love sharing our unique property with our brides and grooms for their most special day.
